Copying Selected Text from Encarta

1. Place the mouse cursor before the first word of the text you wish to copy. The cursor will change to look like a capital I.
2. Click and hold down the left mouse button, pulling to the right and down until you have highlighted the text you need. The text will appear with a black block background or highlight.
3. Click the Options menu, then select Copy from the drop-down menu, then across to Text Selection. The selected text will now be copied to the Clipboard - an invisible area of computer memory.
