The
Desktop
The
Desktop is the name given to the initial screen which appears
once Windows has fully loaded. Although it can use a variety of
backgrounds, the Desktop very often uses the 'Clouds' background
by default.
Below
is an image of a typical Desktop:
On the left of the Desktop are a series of icons or shortcuts.
On the right of your screen you may have a Program Shortcut bar
(not illustrated). At the bottom left-hand corner is the Start
button and running along the bottom of the screen is the Task
Bar.
