Launching
E-mail
 Login
to the college computer network in the usual way, by typing your
username and then your password. The Windows NT desktop will appear.
As with all PCs, there are a number of ways in which you can carry
out the same task.
Two
of the most common ways to launch e-mail are as follows:
- Either
click on the Start button at the bottom left hand side of the
screen. When the pop-up menu appears, click on Programs, then
Microsoft Exchange (please note, on some machines this will
say Email.exe).
- Or
towards the top left-hand side of the desktop screen, there
should be an icon or shortcut marked Email.exe. (illustrated
above). Double-click on it. The screen should briefly display
the text Microsoft Exchange in a bronze coloured box, and a
screen similar to the following illustration will appear.
