Links with B.T.

BT is pleased to be associated with the Upper Afan Valley Consortium and is impressed with the work carried out by the schools involved. Our support enabled the consortium to provide videoconferencing facilities for the schools which would benefit not only the teachers and pupils but would be available for use by the local communities. The innovative use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) can add value to and help move forward the goals and objectives of many differing sectors such as education. The schools have been able to participate in a wide range of activities through the considered use of ICT and the development of this website is another example of the awareness and enthusiasm shown by all the teachers, pupils and other participants involved in this project.
