Music Composing
As we have seen, even famous composers can have their music used for commercials. Now its your turn!!!
In groups of 4/5 consider the techniques and devices used in Adiemus. Compose your own piece which would be suitable for a commercial of your own choosing lasting no less than 30 seconds.
When your composition is complete perform it for your class. See if they would buy your product! How about recording your work too?
Think about:

What is the commmerical for?

Who is it aimed at?

What type of image do you want for the company you are advertising?

What instruments or voices will you use?

Composing techniques / devices e.g. ostinato, rhythm, layering parts, repetition, speed etc.

What about using the music software you have in school on your computers to help you compose?
Evaluation:
- What was the most enjoyable part of the composing task?
- Did you have any difficulties and, if so, how did you overcome them?
- Briefly describe what devices you used.
- How successful was your composition and why?
