Title:The Unsinkable Titanic
Author: Andrew Donkin

The book is about a huge boat that sails out to sea and is supposed to be unsinkable. However, in the middle of the Atlantic there is a big iceberg and, although everybody tries to avoid hitting it, but they can't quite turn the boat in time.

The story is is about different people than the film 'Titanic'. It centres around a little girl whose number one dream is to go on the Titanic. The girl's name is Sarah and she goes on the ship with her mum, Alison.

The story is very frightening and is very, very realistic. One bit of it particularly reminded me of the film: the captain of the boat gets talking to Sarah's mum and shows her a drawing of the Titanic. Sarah likes this drawing so much that the Captain gives it to her. Sarah hangs on to the drawing all through the terrible happenings of that night. To find out why it reminded me of the film, you'll have to read the book.

I thought this was a brilliant book. The setting was described vividly and the story was fast moving. I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in the story of the Titanic.
